Bucket Buddy was started by a coach who wanted to send his player’s their stats after each game but found messaging parents individually and keeping a record of these stats was difficult and time consuming. Bucket buddy aims to solve these issues by providing a digital platform to analyse performance stats and send out information to players via the companion app.

Some businesses already existed that could analyse performance but they were out of the budget range for most basketball organisations that were run by charities or non-profits. Bucket buddy aims to provide an affordable platform that anyone can use. It’s also been designed to be junior friendly by only allowing players to view their own stats and not allowing any communication or social features between staff and players.
